"Those people of long ago / Where do their souls dwell now?" (Vũ Đình Liên).

A Century of Oral Histories is a field trip that "excavates" and peels back the layers of historical and cultural memory along Trần Hưng Đạo Street, from the former Xóm Dầu area to Chợ Quán. From some of the oldest settlements in southern Vietnam to Dương Minh Canton in the Twentieth Inspectorate District, once serving as a buffer between Saigon and Chợ Lớn before gradually becoming part of central Saigon, this area is filled with stories of place names, landscapes, people, customs, spirituality, and dramatic local legends.

Here, Songs will touch the deepest recesses of the soul: from the visionary German poetry of Schubert and Schumann’s Lieder, to the aching yearning of Russian Romances through the lens of Rachmaninoff, and the radiant, sun-drenched Southern warmth of Lalo and Rossini.

As the melodies shift, the hall will be filled with the spirit of Dances. Audiences will be swept away by the frenetic rhythms of a Southern Italian Tarantella, swept up in a resplendent spring waltz by the "Waltz King" himself, J. Strauss, embraced by the rustic warmth of Dvořák’s Slavonic Dances, and enchanted by the mystical footsteps of Anitra in Grieg’s folkloric world.

And finally, the radiant light that illuminates this entire garden is Virtuosity. The artists’ brilliance will reach its zenith through the monumental architecture of Schumann’s Symphonic Études, the dazzling instrumental fireworks of Paganini, and the rustic yet exquisite lyricism of the bassoon - an instrument rarely given the center stage - in Weber’s beautiful concerto.

In an area where young people still face many limitations in accessing arts infrastructure, this summer camp serves as a bridge connecting local students with passionate mentors from the film industry.

4. SCRIPT DEVELOPMENT

Learn the principles of developing a screenplay from an idea.
Practice writing a short film script with the whole group.

Explore different forms of acting, learn the basics of performance techniques, body movement, voice, acting practice, and directing actors, and interact with actors.

6. FILMING SKILLS

Become familiar with the functions of filming equipment under the guidance of professional filmmakers.

Learn the basics of visual language.
Practice drawing storyboards and storytelling through images.

8. PRODUCTION PRACTICE

Based on the script developed by the students, practice producing a film with all production roles, including producer, director, actors, cinematographer, and more.

9. FINAL SCREENING, AWARDS, AND GRADUATION

The program is jointly organized by Nổ Cái Bùm Art Festival Season 4: Brackish Waters, Invisible Space, and the TPD Center for Assistance and Development of Movie Talents.

Bringing together both new and existing works, the exhibition reflects on the continuing life of artworks beyond the circumstances of their making. Rather than approaching the exhibition as the culmination of artistic production, 'để đó' considers each presentation as one moment within an artwork's ongoing trajectory, where meaning continues to evolve through material transformation, movement, encounters, and reinterpretation.

This coming August, the artists of Lắng Nghe Điểm Chạm (Listening to the Touch) will embark on a performance tour to South Korea for the KIADA festival. This is a long-standing and prestigious international stage that brings together artists from all corners of the globe.

But before bringing this production to South Korea, the artists will perform in Saigon at a vibrant and colorful arts program this summer.

Special Note: This program is beautifully designed as a meaningful summer gift for children, teenagers, and anyone who believes that the power of art can transcend all language barriers.

What awaits at the program:

A Contemporary Dance performance brought to life by Deaf and hard-of-hearing artists. Through the movement of hands and bodies, guests will witness the silent yet powerful voice of a community rarely represented. Here, they share their inner struggles and personal stories through intensely expressive gazes and pauses that are at times compressed, at times boundless. The piece can be a deep, intimate conversation, or simply a moment for you to rest within a loud world.

The performance concludes with a special interactive activity between the artists and the audience, dissolving the boundaries between the Deaf/hard-of-hearing and hearing communities. This is also the very production that has consistently sold out during previous runs of Lắng Nghe Điểm Chạm.

A Non-verbal Theatre (Pantomime) performance inspired by classic mime theater, presented by both Deaf/hard-of-hearing and hearing artists. Whether you are an adult or a child, this performance will sweep guests into moments of pure joy and laughter. Moreover, it offers a wonderful opportunity to experience an art form that once flourished but is now gradually fading from Vietnamese stages.

Cuội Theater believes that everyone deserves to be seen, to be heard, and to be present as their truest selves. Openly embracing and connecting with different communities is a beautiful way to nurture the love within everyone.

But this time, there's something special...
This will be the final chapter of BZONE BE ZESTFUL.

Over the years, BZONE BE ZESTFUL has become a place where so many beautiful memories have been made.

It was the very first performance stage for many Bzoners.
It was the late-night rehearsals with friends.
It was the nervous excitement behind the curtains. The cheers as the stage lights came on.
And it became a beautiful memory that will stay with us forever.

And on August 2, we will write the final chapter of that journey together.

BZONE BE ZESTFUL – DANCE SHOWCASE 2026

Special performances choreographed by Bzone's team of choreographers and instructors.
Outstanding performances by Bzone students.
"Secret" performances that will appear only on this special night.
Special guest performances.
Mini games, gifts, and many exciting activities.
