Local architects, H&P, have long focused on the use of environmentally-friendly materials for their designs. Earlier this year, they released a set of renderings of low-cost bamboo housing designs that looked pretty amazing. To increase awareness about sustainable buildings, the firm built the BES (Bamboo–Earth–Stone) pavilion with focuses on bringing art and culture closer to the inhabitants of Ha Tinh.

BES is constructed from local materials and uses a traditional building method that arranges spaces based on the idea that users should be central to the structure. H&P Architects sought to create a structure that would not only be low impact in terms of materials, but one that would also demand little energy from the grid.
With this in mind, their design takes advantage of aerodynamics for improve ventilation, natural light diffusion, and thoughtful landscaping for cooling and air filtration. Ultimately, H&P hopes that this space will get visitors to think about their own home environments and inspire them to make more sustainable decisions in the future.
