Saudi Man, Exiled for Being Too Đẹp, on His Way to Vietnam

You may recall hearing the story of Omar Borkan Al Gala, a Saudi man deported from his home country for being too handsome.

Well, luckily this is no crime in Vietnam and the exiled, really, really ridiculously good looking artist announced he would be traveling to our fair country this month.

Gala, a self-described photographer, actor, and poet was deported from Dubai this April because Saudi religious police feared his handsomeness would corrupt the innocent souls of young women.

When news of his deportation reached Vietnamese news outlets, many local women offered him their hearts and homes. Now their wish may come true.

Gala recently posed a photo of Hoi An on his Facebook page saying: “Can you guess where this picture was photographed? I think it will be very interesting when I travel there next month.”

We'll see if he's denied entry for being too đẹp but how could an innocent passport agent reject a man who wrote words like these?

“The beauty of a woman must be seen from in her eyes, because that is the doorway to her heart, the place where love resides.”

Classy stuff.
