SAIGON ROCKERS are feeling MAD IRIE to be able to announce that legendary UK singer, song-writer and BIG Time Toaster TIPPA IRIE from the infamous Saxon Sound System will be hitting our city again for a night that is going to JUMP and BOOM to the sound of his spit-fire lyrics and driving riddims.

Experiencing TIPPA IRIE work a party is a spectacle that needs to be seen, heard and felt to be believed. He engages the crowd from the first drop of a beat, masterfully guiding his selecta to cruise through a huge slice of the different styles that make up what is broadly known as Reggae Music.

With massive releases and collaborations with many of the other icons at the top of the game over the last 3 decades - including but not limited to The Black Eyed Peas, Mad Professor, Johnny Osbourne & many more - TIPPA is a figure with some mad experience, and was a key figure in the homegrown reggae and dancehall style that emerged out of the UK in the 80s. 

He'll be putting all of that skill to full effect on The Observatory's killer sound system this night. It'll also be Saigon Rockers' first event at the venue, so get down and taste something FRESH.
