According to ancient Vietnamese ideas, Vietnamese land is shaped like a traditional cake, Bánh Chưng, which is often made during the lunar new year, while the sky is shaped like an another cake named Bánh Giầy. Bánh Chưng is a square that symbolizes the square earth, and the Bánh Giầy is round and symbolizes the round sky.
Nón is a special tool that Vietnamese people use daily for protecting themselves from the sun or the rain while working in the fields. Nón is a conical hat, symbolizing the life’s desires to reach to the top, to go farther, to be the best, to have love and happiness.
When no speaking, no seeing, no hearing becomes the mean of life.
Would it be better to be deaf when one can hear?
Would it be better to be quiet when one can speak?
Would it be better to be blind when one can see?
A thing that is more than ever worthy, where people become fond of each other and overcome the difficulties and burdens of life. The thing that people wish to reach the most furiously, that is love.
And that place. Things are reborn.
