Amazing Vegetable Carvings In HCMC

When one thinks about materials artists use to make intricate carving, wood immediately comes to mind. But at the Taste of the World culinary festival which wrapped up last week, a group of talented contestants used veggies to recreate some of the world’s most iconic structures including the One Pillar Pagoda, Ha Long Bay, the Colosseum, the Great Wall of China and the Taj Mahal.

The 37 food artists carved up their creations at District 1’s September 23rd Park and two pieces, one depicting the Po Nagar Cham tower in Khanh Hoa Province and the other Hanoi’s One Pillar Pagoda took the top spot, reports Thanh Nien.
