[Video] Wanderers: A Reminder of Vietnam's Intricate Beauty

After spending two months traversing the vast landscapes of Thailand, Laos, Cambodia and Vietnam, videographer Stanislas Denis documented the intimate beauty of Southeast Asia in a series of contemplative travelogues. The third chapter chronicles his journey in Vietnam.

Stanislas visited Hanoi, Sapa, and Ninh Binh, as well as other famous landmarks in the country’s rural provinces. Set to a soft, Asia-inspired musical score, the filmmaker captures the nation’s people and scenery in close-up shots and slow-motion. Oftentimes, travel videos about Vietnam tend to shine the limelight on the buzz of activities in local metropolises, but Stanislas chose to go another route by focusing on the details.
