Last night saw the first installment of GoGo City’s GLAM, a new art and music party, at Q4.
Live artistic expression was the name of the game - guests joined artist Yanneth Albornoz to paint huge murals while rocking out to the tunes of live DJs and Minh Kien.

The buildings and streets of Saigon can change in the blink of an eye. Gone are the streetcars, French street names and ox-drawn carts. As the economy continues to develop, the old Saigon is being replaced by skyscrapers, metros and Burger Kings.

Jazz musician and painter Zan (Truong Giang) took over Um Kafe four months ago with the intent to preserve this originally decorated cafe, and to offer an intimate venue for jazz musicians to perform and experiment.

The Saigon Players are a non-profit community theater group who aim to uphold the arts while giving to charity. All the proceeds from their performances go towards a charity that the members personally choose.
