Every country has its own signature costume. In Vietnam, it's the áo dài; in Japan, it's the kimono; in Thailand, apparently, it's a bodysuit shaped like a tuk-tuk.

This December, Miss Universe Thailand will represent the Land of Smiles dressed as a tuk-tuk, reports Asian Correspondent.
Organizers of the Miss Universe Thailand pageant released sketches of the outfit earlier last week. Its tight-fitting blue bodysuit is backed by the rectangular shape of the motorized vehicle and includes real, working headlights as well as an array of colorful accoutrements.
Miss Universe Thailand 2015, model and pageant winner Aniporn Chalermburanawong, will don the dress during the costume round of pageant, which will be held in the United States.
The final get-up was selected from 356 possible designs, submitted to a contest arranged by Miss Universe Thailand. Titled 'Tuk Tuk Thailand', the costume embodies what Asian Correspondent calls the “smoke-belching, ear-splitting, undisciplined rickshaws known as tuk-tuks”. Sexy.
